And while you contemplate your dreams, don't forget to buy another coffee...

Hey, weren't you on sabbatical or something? How come every time I get 'round something new has been posted up?

Do I sound like your ma? :D

More seriously, what kind of coffee comes in a gallon paper container? What you need is get your litterature in its place - a book. Coffee cups should be tiny and full of dark, thick, highly aromatic liquid, indecently shugared until you can see it cling to the sides with its tiny crystalized hands. Not enough space to put litterature on them ... but enough time to enjoy the contents, preferrably with a decent selection of friends, all savy and with a high standard of conversation.

Hahaha. Hi Alan. On both counts? Yes. I am on sabbatical. At the very least, I'm trying. As you can see, you're not getting your usual American sized, hi-voltage dose of me as you normally would. :)

On that note, I couldn't agree more with you about the size of the cup. It's actually rare that I even drink coffee in the US. It's such a distasteful thing here, aside from the size and taste of the watered down brown stuff.

It really breaks my heart that Coelho puts his stuff on the Starbucks logo. (I haven't met him, but I imagine him to be a man who knows a thing to two about quality coffee, and may have a deep er opinion about making "one's dreams" a commodity.)

And yes, I also agree that coffee is a social activity that produces knowledge through discourse.

But, yes...back to work. On that note, you will probably enjoy my latest post.

Yes, it is a pity. It probably isn't Coelho Himself, but some sort of parasite (sorry: I meant an agent) who takes the decisions -- a guy/gal who doesn't know his/her coffee and with whom you would probably rather not socialize anyway.

PS: Did like the latest post ... also liked the rest of that blog you mention.
