Saying Yes

I took 24 hours to think about it and said yes to the fellowship. After doing a bit of research, I made a specific request for the India post. Nothing against Nepal, but the idea of India seemed to resonate a little more with me. I should know more about my fate in the coming days.

A dear friend of mine, who is currently living in Bangkok, appears to be the most thrilled by this news. "We're practically going to be neighbors!," she said with glee. I laughed at the thought that a visit to Bangkok might not seem like such a big stretch. Is this really my life?

Thanks to everyone (including my wonderful readers--thanks, ya'll) who assured me that I'm not "missing anything". In the end, what is six more months? Now, I just need to get around to telling my mother about this. (Probably not the best news to deliver on Mother's Day, I am thinking...)

The good news is that now that this decision is off my shoulders, I can return my state of mind to being here in Jerusalem. There is tons to do and tons more to write about. More soon.

Namaste

All good news. What are you missing? Old age & murmuring of regrets over lost opportunities to travel. Past a certain age, you just need so much 'stuff' you might as well take a camel caravan. Cheers & Good Luck! 'VJ'
